Responsibilities:
- Own and drive overall store performance, including sales, profitability, client acquisition, and retention goals.
- Lead from the front by actively selling, styling clients, and serving as a top revenue contributor.
- Leverage and grow an existing transferable client book to drive boutique sales and brand awareness.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to maximize revenue opportunities and market presence.
- Analyze sales trends, KPIs, and customer data to identify growth opportunities and improve performance.
- Foster a results-oriented culture focused on achieving and exceeding store goals.
- Create and maintain a luxury service culture that prioritizes relationship-building and personalized experiences.
- Develop, nurture, and expand a loyal client base through proactive outreach, appointments, events, and community engagement.
- Lead clienteling initiatives and ensure the team consistently utilizes CRM tools and follow-up strategies.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals and local clientele.
- Ensure every client interaction reflects the brand's luxury positioning and service standards.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Inspire a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
- Coach associates on luxury selling techniques, wardrobe styling, and clienteling best practices.
- Conduct regular performance discussions, sales reviews, and development planning.
- Lead by example through professionalism, integrity, and exceptional service execution.
- Oversee all day-to-day store operations, including inventory, merchandising, staffing, scheduling, and operational compliance.
- Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation consistently meet luxury brand standards.
- Manage operational efficiencies while maintaining an elevated and welcoming environment.
- Partner with corporate leadership to execute company initiatives, events, and promotions.
- Serve as the face of the brand within the Wilmette and North Shore community.
- Identify opportunities for local partnerships, networking events, and client engagement activities.
- Build brand awareness through community involvement and relationship development.
- Host and support private shopping appointments, trunk shows, and VIP events.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of luxury retail management and leadership experience, preferably within luxury apparel, accessories, fine jewelry, watches, or related luxury categories.
- Proven success in luxury clienteling and relationship-driven sales.
- Established transferable client book with demonstrated ability to drive sales through personal client relationships.
- Strong history of consistently exceeding sales goals and business objectives.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing retail teams.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent business leader and entrepreneur within a retail environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and networking skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, clienteling tools, and retail performance metrics.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and special events.
- Experience managing a luxury boutique or specialty retail environment.
- Existing professional network within Wilmette, Winnetka, Glencoe, Highland Park, Lake Forest, or the greater North Shore market.
- Strong understanding of luxury fashion trends, styling, and wardrobe building.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent luxury retail leadership experience.
