Title: Inventory Control Manager
Location: New York, NY
Working Model: Onsite 5 days/week for first 90 days, then 4 days/week

Responsibilities:

Oversee receiving activities, stock transfers, and inventory adjustments across retail stores, warehouses, and e-commerce channels

Maintain inventory accuracy in Retail Pro and other systems; approve and audit inventory movements

Lead operational communication with store teams regarding stock discrepancies and investigations

Manage cycle counts, end-of-season reconciliation, and ensure timely reporting and posting of returns

Support loss prevention by investigating adjustment trends and operational irregularities

Partner with Logistics, Merchandising, E-Shop, Wholesale, and Finance teams for process alignment and improvements

Implement process audits, workflow redesigns, and system updates to improve inventory control and accuracy
Requirements:

4+ years of inventory control, logistics, wholesale, or operations experience in a retail or fashion environment

Experience in multi-brand and multi-location retail settings preferred

Strong understanding of inventory control principles, reconciliation processes, and financial alignment

Ability to partner cross-functionally with Store Operations, Merchandising, E-Commerce, Wholesale, and Finance teams

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (strong Excel skills), Retail Pro, and Apparel Magic preferred; additional WMS/ERP familiarity a plus

Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and ability to detect inconsistencies or data errors

Self-starter with strong initiative and disciplined approach to process execution
