Title: Graphic Designer/Illustrator
Location: Montreal, QC
Salary: up to 60K
Salary is an estimated range provided by JPSearch and commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
- Create technical flats and detailed garment sketches for ladies’ fashion collections, including programs for key accounts such as Walmart.
- Develop and maintain CADs, ensuring all colors, prints, trims, fabrications, and garment details are accurately represented.
- Update technical sketches and CADs throughout the fitting process to reflect design modifications and approvals.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain trim sheets for all styles.
- Ensure all design specifications, artwork, and supporting documentation are accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Collaborate closely with Design, Production, Merchandising, and Product Development teams to support the development process from concept through production.
- Assist with artwork placement, print development, colorways, and presentation materials as required.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a high standard of precision, consistency, and attention to detail across all technical and creative work.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Marketing, Graphic Design, Illustration, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in a fashion graphics, CAD, or technical design role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; knowledge of Photoshop is an asset.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and technical specifications.
- Experience creating technical flats, CADs, and production-ready design packages.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
