Title: Associate Product Developer
Company Description: Growing consumer products company; multi-channel designer, manufacturer, and distributor of eyewear.
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Compensation: $60,000-$65,000 + discretionary bonus.
Salary is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JPSearch.
Responsibilities:
- Manage 2-3 assigned accounts through the product development lifecycle.
- Create and maintain line sheets, spec sheets, and product documentation.
- Support the Product Development team with daily project execution.
- Track timelines, sample submissions, and development milestones.
- Maintain PLM records, stock lists, and development trackers.
- Assist with costing, reporting, and sample management.
- Coordinate with Design, Sales, Imports, and overseas factories.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of Product Development, Merchandising, or Production experience.
- Experience in eyewear, accessories, apparel, or related consumer products.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and PLM systems preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on increased account ownership.
