Title: Associate Accessories Designer

Salary: $55,000-$100,000

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop seasonal accessories collections for childrenswear, with a focus on soft goods such as bags, headwear, backpacks, small accessories, and lifestyle items
- Translate streetwear and sportswear trends into kid-appropriate, commercial designs that meet brand standards and price points
- Create concept boards, sketches, CADs, colorways, and material callouts for global assortments
- Partner closely with Product Development, Merchandising, and Sourcing teams to ensure designs are feasible, on-brand, and cost-effective
- Manage the design process from concept through production, including sample reviews, revisions, and approvals
- Research materials, trims, and construction techniques suitable for children’s use, durability, and safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align accessories collections with apparel and footwear lines
- Maintain awareness of market trends, competitors, and cultural influences within streetwear and sportswear
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Accessories Design, or a related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of accessories design experience, ideally within soft goods
- Prior experience designing for streetwear, sportswear, or lifestyle brands preferred
- Children’s, youth, or scaled-down product experience is a strong plus
- Strong design sensibility with a clear understanding of streetwear and sportswear aesthetics
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD development
- Solid knowledge of materials, construction, and manufacturing for soft goods accessories
- Ability to design with functionality, durability, and safety requirements in mind for children’s product
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple seasons and deadlines
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- Experience working with global teams and overseas factories preferred
