Salary: $65-90k (depends on experience, open to more junior or mid-level)
Salary is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC.
REPORTS TO: Art Manager
Specific Responsibilities
- Create and prepare files for screen print. Must have knowledge of film output, 4 color process, simulated process, halftones, line screen, dot angles, spot colors, mesh counts.
- Review and adjust artwork as needed using Illustrator and Photoshop. Cleaning up artwork, Color Correction and outputting print ready artwork.
- Manage production coordination in cooperation with production team and print/garment factories to make sure prints are done correctly and to the best quality possible.
- Use the appropriate colors and scale for each graphic
- Prepare color separations for the screen-printing process.
- Must have a keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with quick and accurate results.
- Strong multi-task skills. Hundreds of prints a month.
- Organize and maintain approval library.
- Drop-off/Pick-up as needed & other duties as assigned
Skills and Requirements
- Ability to work in-house at our design studio, this is not a remote position.
- Exceptional Skills in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Assertive, independent thinker, able to exercise good judgement independently.
- Research retail market trends and translate into graphics.
- Collaborate with the design department to develop and execute seasonal deliverables.
- Technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong organizational and follow up skills.
Education and/or Experience
- 3-6+ Years creating apparel graphics
