We are now seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead a team of Area Managers across the South of the UK. This is a pivotal and influential leadership role within the sales function and is critical to the continued success and growth of a leading premium beauty brand.
Responsibilities
Major Objective
To drive retail growth and performance across the designated region through effective leadership of a team of Area Managers, setting clear standards through personal example and hands-on coaching.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Retail Sales Performance

Agree regional retail sales targets in line with the full-year budget.

Partner with each Area Manager to deliver store-level sales targets across the region.

Take a strategic approach to achieving regional performance goals, maximising all commercial levers to drive results.

Analyse sales data and performance metrics to identify opportunities and implement action plans.
Leadership, Training & Development

Coach and develop Area Managers to build high-performing, customer-focused teams.

Ensure consistent delivery of the agreed sales approach, including confident product demonstrations and service excellence.

Support learning through in-field coaching, role plays, and structured training sessions.

Measure and manage team performance on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis.
Customer Experience & Services

Drive exceptional customer service standards across the region.

Support growth of the services business, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to all health and safety standards.

Monitor service performance through booking platforms and commercial analysis tools.
Stock & Commercial Management
-
Coach Area Managers on maintaining balanced stock levels and minimising out-of-stock risks.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address stock challenges proactively.
Visual Merchandising
-
Ensure all retail environments meet brand merchandising standards.

Maintain high levels of cleanliness and visual impact to attract and engage customers.
Culture & Engagement

Foster a high-performance culture aligned with company values.

Create an environment where team members feel supported, engaged and motivated to achieve both personal and business goals.
Talent Development & Succession Planning

Identify and develop internal talent, building clear succession plans across the region.

Oversee onboarding and induction for all new starters.

Monitor retention trends and implement strategies to reduce turnover year-on-year.

Lead in-field training and development for Area Managers and retail teams.
Communication & Stakeholder Management

Maintain strong daily communication with Area Managers.

Partner closely with senior sales leadership and Head Office teams.

Build productive relationships with store management and retail stakeholders to ensure alignment and support of business objectives.
Region
The geographical area includes:
Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth, Bournemouth, Southampton, Camberley, Guildford, Cardiff, Cheltenham, Llantrisant, Swansea, Worcester and Bath.
