Title: RTW Designer

Salary: $85,000-$120,000

Responsibilities:

• Concept, design, and develop seasonal RTW collections in alignment with brand aesthetic and creative direction.
• Conduct in-depth research on trends, fabrics, trims, and market positioning within the luxury space.
• Create detailed sketches, technical flats, and comprehensive design packages.
• Select premium fabrics and trims, ensuring luxury quality and innovation.
• Present concepts and seasonal narratives to senior leadership.
• Partner closely with product development and technical design teams to oversee samples from initial concept through final approval.
• Attend fittings and provide clear direction to ensure proper construction, proportion, and fit.
• Maintain strong knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, and luxury finishing techniques.
• Ensure timelines are met while upholding the highest standards of quality.
• Work closely with merchandising to ensure product assortment aligns with business strategy.
• Collaborate with production teams and global vendors to maintain integrity of design.
• Support runway presentations, market appointments, and editorial needs as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in women’s apparel design within a recognized luxury fashion brand.
• Strong portfolio showcasing RTW collections with refined tailoring, draping, and premium fabrication.
• Deep understanding of luxury garment construction and high-end finishing techniques.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and PLM systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple seasons simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Open and willing to relocate as needed.
