Company Description: MAJOR K BEAUTY SKINCARE BRAND EXPANDING REACH IN US
Location: LA, California (Remote)
Snapshot: The primary mandate is to drive GMV growth through strategic SKU planning, promotional execution, and data-driven product optimization — in close collaboration with the Seoul HQ team.
Compensation Range 90-100K + Incentives
Salary: Salary is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JPS
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in global eCommerce merchandising or product planning
- Direct, hands?on TikTok Shop operating experience across Live, Affiliate, Deals, and Bundles
- Proven track record of driving GMV growth through data-driven merchandising strategies
- Deep understanding of TikTok Shop mechanics, algorithm, Live commerce, Affiliate programs, and promotional formats. Helpful if you understand the success of other brands
- Strong understanding of pricing, margin structures, and promotional mechanics in social commerce
- Experience planning and managing SKU assortment strategies, including Hero SKUs, bundles, and Live?exclusive products
- Familiarity with the US beauty and personal care market, with a strong interest in K?Beauty and skincare trends
- Experience optimizing PDPs, imagery, reviews, and product storytelling to improve conversion
- Ability to forecast demand, manage inventory risk, and partner with supply chain teams on replenishment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience collaborating cross?functionally and cross?culturally with global HQ teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Experience with other social commerce platforms such as Instagram Shop or Amazon Live is a plus
- Comfort using AI powered tools and workflows is a plus

What We’re Looking For
Deep TikTok Shop Merchandising Expertise
This is the foundation of the role. You understand how TikTok Shop’s ecosystem, content formats, and creator dynamics drive sell-through and GMV, and you know how to scale products through platform?native strategies.
Data-Driven GMV Growth Mindset
This role is highly performance-driven. You analyze GMV, conversion rate, sell-through, and margin, and consistently turn insights into merchandising actions that move the business forward.
Strategic SKU & Assortment Planning
This is the engine of growth. You identify new product opportunities using platform trends, GMV data, and competitive insights, and localize K-Beauty assortments for the US consumer.
Core Responsibilities
Pricing, Promotions & Margin Management
Plan and execute TikTok-specific promotional structures, manage pricing and margin policies, and maintain promotional calendars aligned with key TikTok Shop moments and tentpole events.
Inventory & Demand Planning
Forecast demand based on platform velocity and promotional cadence, proactively manage stock-out and overstock risks, and partner with HQ supply chain teams to ensure timely replenishment.
Content & Conversion Optimization
Optimize PDPs, imagery, reviews, and product storytelling to improve conversion while ensuring brand consistency across all TikTok Shop touchpoints. Partner with marketing, Live hosts, and Affiliate teams to support high-impact commerce moments.
Analytics & Performance Management
Track GMV, CVR, and key KPIs on an ongoing basis, translating performance insights into actionable merchandising decisions and clear reporting for leadership.
Cross-Functional & HQ Collaboration
Collaborate closely with Seoul HQ on product selection, localization, launch readiness, and ongoing optimization, operating effectively across cultures and time zones.
