Are you a creative, detail-driven project manager with a passion for exhibition production and cultural programming?

We are seeking a Programming Projects Production Manager to lead the planning and delivery of world-class exhibitions. Based in Kensington, this full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee exhibition builds and installations, working closely with a dynamic programming team and a range of internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of exhibition production, from planning to installation and maintenance.

  • Liaise with UK and international partners to ensure the highest standards in design, logistics, health and safety, and artwork care.

  • Coordinate shipping, insurance, and contractor services.

  • Produce and manage technical drawings and layouts.

  • Oversee exhibition budgets and maintain accurate records.

  • Ensure sustainability targets are met through reuse and recycling.

  • Monitor and maintain display conditions, handling procedures, and object security.

What You’ll Need:

  • A degree (or equivalent) and at least 3 years' experience in exhibition production or a similar role.

  • Proficiency in English and advanced Japanese reading/listening skills.

  • Strong knowledge of technical plans and modelling software (Vectorworks, 3D modelling).

  • Excellent organisational, time-management, and communication skills.

  • A working knowledge of health and safety legislation, risk assessments, and budget management.

  • A genuine interest in cultural programming and cross-cultural collaboration.

Bonus Skills (Not Essential but Great to Have):

  • International shipping and customs knowledge (Carnets, NIRU)

  • IOSH, project management, or art handling certification

  • Experience in museum, heritage, or arts institutions

  • Experience working in intercultural or cross-border teams
