Title: Part-Time Sales Associate

Location: Saugus, Massachusetts
Salary: $26,000-$37,000 plus commission

Responsibilities:

• Consistently achieve individual and store sales goals by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones
• Deliver a polished, high-touch customer experience through consultative selling and attentive service
• Assist customers in selecting frames and vision solutions that reflect their lifestyle, preferences, and prescription needs
• Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend appropriate lenses and lens enhancements
• Perform basic optical measurements using appropriate tools, partnering with licensed opticians as needed
• Accurately process transactions using point-of-sale systems and handle basic cash, credit, and inventory procedures
• Embrace new technology, tools, and processes with a high level of accuracy and adaptability
• Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing sales floor and inventory presentation
• Actively contribute to a positive, inclusive store culture by building respectful relationships with customers, peers, management, and clinical partners
• Demonstrate accountability for sales performance and a strong desire to meet or exceed goals

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in retail sales or customer service (luxury, hospitality, or high-touch service experience strongly preferred)
• Comfort with point-of-sale systems, computers, calculators, and basic phone skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail
• Previous experience in optical or eyewear is not a requirement
• Part-time schedule with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and peak business hours
