Position Summary
The Product Development Engineering Project Manager will support the Product Development Manager in bringing new ideas and solutions to life. This role is ideal for an engineering professional who enjoys problem-solving, testing, and managing projects from concept through delivery. You’ll work closely with internal teams, contract manufacturers, and brand partners to ensure every sales lead and project is fully realized.

With access to an in-house testing room, you’ll validate product performance while driving cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative glass and component solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product Development Manager to design, test, and launch new glass and component products.
  • Manage and execute product testing, validation, and quality assurance in the in-house testing room.
  • Coordinate with contract manufacturers and brand partners to align on specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Translate client and sales team needs into product specifications and technical requirements.
  • Support sales opportunities by developing tailored solutions that maximize project potential.
  • Document engineering processes, testing results, and performance data for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, supply chain) to ensure smooth product implementation.
  • Monitor market and industry trends in glass and art deco to inform product innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Civil, or related field preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in product development, engineering, or technical project management.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers and/or consumer brands is strongly preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude with hands-on experience in testing and validation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience in glass, building materials, or architectural products is a plus.
