The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes for the US business. This role acts as a liaison for our employees and provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry. The Human Resources Coordinator will also support with the recruitment process, onboarding/offboarding process, processing new hires and terms in our systems and maintaining records and data accuracy. The role requires a high level of confidentiality, efficiency, effectiveness, diplomacy, and organization, all to be conducted in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
The nature of your position exposes you to confidential information pertaining to the Company and its employees. All information must remain within the HR department and should not be discussed with any other member of staff or external body, only expose in the normal course of your duties.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests.
• Manages I-9 – verifies I-9 documentation & maintains I-9 files.
• Assists with new-employee background checks.
• Assists with processing of terminations and performance review process.
• Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates,
• Schedules meetings and interviews, as requested.
• Files documents into appropriate employee files.
• Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
• Prepares new-employee files.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or field experience
• At least one year of related experience required, including internships

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Working understanding of human resource principles, practices & procedures.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
