Reports to VP of Amazon and Etail

Salary:130-160K

Our client is a strong, rapidly growing luxury skincare brand seeking a capable Director of Amazon Ops to help accelerate growth, and will work collaboratively and drive for continuous growth. 

If you have OVER 8 years of experience on Amazon through Seller Central (KEY REQUIREMENT – ONLY THOSE WITH THIS EXPERIENCE CAN BE CONSIDERED). 

You must know Amazon Seller Central, the FBA environment, and Amazon Media, and strive to introduce best practices across the organization to achieve results.  It is important that you have strong analytical skills and can interpret data to generate actionable insights and be capable with the following:
 

  • Proficient in Excel: must be able to do VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and other basic formulas. 
  • Highly organized, pro-active self-starter and self-motivated with a teamwork attitude. 
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity & work across teams to develop clarity. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent follow-through. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams. 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. 

Core Demands of the Position:
To scale growth and profitability on Amazon and to oversee day-to-day operations for the brand with internal and external partners.  You will manage the Amazon P&L  and develop the merchandising strategies to build awareness and exceed targets for growth.

P&L and Business Management 

  • Manage full Amazon P&L and budgets to ensure the brand hits profitability and sales goals. 
  • Define and achieve growth targets through planning and implementation of effective advertising and retail strategies, promotions, site content optimization, and assortment plans. 
  • Oversee the Amazon agency on a day-to-day basis with a focus on operational excellence, achieving sales goals, and profit. 

Operations Management 

  • Manage all Amazon-related operations, including inventory planning, CX, listing and catalog management, account health, and other relevant business operations. 
  • Own total forecasting, including sales and demand, collaborating internally to ensure accurate scenarios, execution, and communication across all stakeholders. 

Merchandising and Marketing Management 

  • Lead planning and execution of new product launches, effectively executing the go-to-market launch process and collaborating cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Manage and optimize content, including all PDP assets, landing pages, and videos. 

Reporting and Analytics 

  • Develop and manage reporting and analytics that lead to actionable insights and measurable optimizations.  
  • Additional tasks as assigned.
