About the Company
A successful female-founded fine jewelry company specializing in customized engagement rings and fine jewelry is seeking a Digital Merchant to become an integral part of the team.
In this role, the Digital Merchant will be responsible for supporting the Merchandising team in managing ecommerce site merchandising and analytics. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
The Digital Merchant will support site merchandising and operations functions, ensuring flawless site execution. This role will also be responsible for analyzing KPIs in order to recommend digital strategies and enhancements to drive results and overall success.
Responsibilities

Develop weekly site strategy and roadmap in collaboration with the Merchandising team to drive success of brand initiatives.

Analyze KPIs to identify opportunities for increased sales and conversion; present findings and recommendations to leadership.

Monitor the competitive landscape to establish digital standards and best practices.

Own PDP standards, setup, maintenance, and optimization, including attribution, images, and copy.

Manage deliverables of content creators for total site asset needs; recommend photo and styling direction to align with brand aesthetic and drive sales; maintain Master Asset Library.

Own navigation and collection page creation and sequencing; optimize taxonomy and on-site search.

Maintain and update all customer-facing copy on the website.

Own backend roadmap and deliverables; collaborate with the web development team to communicate site enhancement needs.

Own A/B testing roadmap, analyze results, and provide recommended actions.

Conduct continuous site audits for accuracy; proactively identify issues or future enhancements.
About You

Up to date on industry standards and best practices within digital merchandising.

Effective communicator and storyteller with strong written and verbal skills.

Self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Strong attention to detail, with the ability to think creatively, strategically, and technically.
Requirements

4–6 years of experience in a digital/ecommerce environment.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

Fluent in digital KPIs with strong analytical skills.

Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Google Analytics, and Google Suite.
SHOPIFY EXPERIENCE IS A HUGE PLUS!! -
Experience with wireframing a plus.

Full-time, in-person role located in Midtown NYC.

Office hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (flexibility for “startup-style” hours is ideal).

Compensation: $95,000 – $110,000, commensurate with experience.
