Salary: $75,000-$110,000

Responsibilities:
- Develop seasonal girls’ woven assortments that reflect brand identity, trend direction, and customer needs across global markets
- Conduct ongoing research into fashion trends, fabric innovations, fit updates, and color stories relevant to the girls’ category
- Create detailed CADs and design concepts from initial idea through final approval
- Own the design process from concept to production, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met
- Review, create, and maintain design and technical documentation to ensure accuracy throughout development
- Partner closely with Technical Design to ensure fit integrity, construction quality, and design intent
- Attend and actively participate in fit sessions, providing clear and actionable feedback
- Collaborate with Graphic Design, Merchandising, and Sales to build cohesive line plans and presentation materials for internal reviews and market meetings
- Manage seasonal design boards, catalogs, and line lists to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Review and approve fabrics, trims, color standards, and lab dips, communicating decisions clearly to cross?functional partners
- Coordinate sampling development and track progress with internal and external partners
- Guide, mentor, and develop Assistant and Associate Designers, fostering growth and accountability
- Support fashion presentations, line reviews, and brand storytelling initiatives in partnership with Marketing
- Contribute to special design or brand projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of design experience in apparel, with demonstrated experience in girls’ woven categories
- Strong understanding of children’s wear fit, fabrication, and safety considerations
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop
- Proven ability to manage multiple seasons and priorities simultaneously
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
- Highly organized with a sharp eye for detail and design consistency
- Ability to interpret brand strategy and translate it into commercially successful product
- Experience designing for global or multi?market brands
- Background in wholesale or large?scale production environments
- Familiarity with overseas sourcing and development processes
