Title: Assistant Store Manager

Location: Houston, Texas
Salary: $45,000-$55,000 plus commission

Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate, and coach store associates to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive sales performance by analyzing results, identifying opportunities, and implementing effective strategies.
• Develop and nurture client relationships, creating a loyal customer base through personalized service and styling.
• Support daily operations including opening/closing procedures, scheduling, inventory management, and visual standards.
• Communicate key business insights and feedback from customers and buyers to the team to improve results.
• Ensure the store reflects brand standards through merchandising, cleanliness, and overall presentation.
• Coordinate and promote in-store events, trunk shows, and client appointments to enhance engagement and drive traffic.
• Foster a positive team culture, recognizing achievements and promoting collaboration and accountability.
• Model and reinforce selling techniques, product knowledge, and styling expertise.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of retail leadership experience, preferably in women’s fashion or specialty retail.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for styling and personal client engagement.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfortable using retail systems, POS software, and digital tools.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and move throughout the store as needed.
