Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow existing off-price accounts while identifying new business opportunities within major retailers.
- Leverage established relationships to drive immediate revenue opportunities.
- Develop and execute seasonal sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Negotiate pricing, margins, and terms while maintaining profitability goals.
- Analyze sell-through data and market trends to proactively identify opportunities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Present product assortments tailored to off-price customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams (merchandising, production, operations) to ensure on-time delivery and execution.
- Manage order entry, revisions, and follow-through to ensure seamless fulfillment.
- Maintain strong communication regarding inventory opportunities and closeout strategies.
- Identify excess inventory, pack-and-hold opportunities, and market-driven product solutions.
- Provide feedback to product and merchandising teams based on account needs and performance.
- Monitor competitive landscape and off-price market shifts.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of apparel sales experience, with a strong focus on off-price accounts.
- Established book of business within major off-price retailers.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales volume targets.
- Strong understanding of apparel costing, margin structures, and negotiation.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong analytical and forecasting abilities.
- Ability to travel as needed.
