Deputy Store Manager – Swiss Chocolatier, Premium Retail

With boutiques across London — including our flagship Regent Street store, a vibrant Westfield Shepherd’s Bush location, and our exclusive presence in Harrods’ Chocolate Hall — we bring the elegance of Swiss tradition together with a modern, premium retail experience.

We’re passionate about creating moments of indulgence and joy for our customers, and we are now seeking a Deputy Store Manager who shares our commitment to excellence, luxury, and memorable experiences.

 


Role Overview

As Deputy Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional performance, inspiring and developing your team, and ensuring every customer enjoys the full Swiss chocolate experience. Acting as the Store Manager’s right hand, you’ll step into leadership when needed and support in driving all aspects of store operations and customer engagement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support and deputise for the Store Manager, taking ownership when required

  • Lead by example on the shop floor, creating a warm and luxurious customer journey

  • Motivate, coach, and develop sales associates to achieve their potential

  • Oversee onboarding and continuous training, ensuring product knowledge excellence

  • Manage daily store operations and maintain impeccable brand standards

  • Uphold visual merchandising in line with our premium aesthetic

  • Place weekly and seasonal stock orders, manage inventory, and apply FIFO principles

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety standards

  • Schedule staff effectively to balance customer service and cost efficiency


About You

  • Proven leadership experience within premium or luxury retail, ideally food or lifestyle

  • Passionate about customer service excellence and luxury experiences

  • Commercially astute, results-driven, and highly organised

  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing teams

  • Confident managing KPIs such as ATV and conversion rates

  • Excellent communication in English; additional languages are an advantage

  • Comfortable with MS Office, POS systems, and stock management

  • Flexible to work weekends and holidays

  • A genuine passion for fine food, chocolate, and premium craftsmanship
