Title: Assistant Designer- Girls Wovens

Salary: $50,000-$60,000

Responsibilities:

• Support the design team with trend, market, and brand research relevant to the girls’ woven category
• Assist in developing CADs, sketches, and design updates throughout the season
• Prepare and update design and sampling documentation to ensure accuracy and timely submission to overseas partners
• Track development milestones and help maintain adherence to the seasonal design calendar
• Help compile and maintain seasonal line sheets, design catalogs, and presentation materials
• Coordinate sample packages, including organizing colors, fabrics, trims, and visual references for internal and external use
• Communicate with cross?functional partners to support sample follow?up and development needs
• Maintain organized digital and physical design files
• Participate in special projects and administrative support tasks as assigned by the design team

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, including internships or entry?level roles within apparel design
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Passion for children’s fashion and interest in woven apparel development
• Exposure to apparel development or sample management processes
• Familiarity with seasonal design timelines
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast?paced, creative environment
